HEBE V
M37, a boat that made history
The M37 is the most successful boat in the ORC history, launched in 2009, designed by Maurizio Cossutti. It has won three world titles and several Italian titles, becoming a true cult boat. Produced by the 2Emme Marine shipyard, which after a bankruptcy found new ownership and in 2016 resumed production of the boat. If anyone wonders whether this design is still relevant or not, we answer with one fact: the new version of the M37, HEBE V, is consistently placed on the winner’s podium in prestigious international regattas.

THE PROJECT.
The idea was simple: the boat should have been light and fast as the fastest in class, but with a rating comparable to the lower ones in the division: indeed an ambitious goal.
Eleven meters and 22 centimeters of great personality, crafted from the finest materials, the M 37 is a fast cruiser equipped with dipped volumes designed to be as competitive as possible in ORC regattas. Obtained from female carbon mold, the hull is made of vinylester vacuum infusion resin. A steel structure was integrated on the bottom to support keel and mast stresses, connected to carbon fiber reinforcements. The structural bulkheads, on the other hand, are made of veneered marine plywood, glued to both the deck and the hull. The keel, in hydrodynamic profile with sections specially designed for this project, has a bulb of about 1800 kg.
The deck, featuring a deckhouse with an original design, has a layout in line with the boat’s sporty vocation. The cockpit enjoys generous volumes and ergonomics designed for crew comfort and relaxation while cruising. The low, aerodynamic deckhouse features large longitudinal fenestration and an elliptical shape that connotes the shipyard’s family feeling.
Special offer for racing lovers.
